PRESS RELEASE: For Immediate Release: March 14, 2011
Combustion Technologies USA, Sandy, Utah Contact: Jim@combust.com COMBUSTION TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES ITS ‘CLEANBOOST® PRODUCT WARRANTY STATEMENT’ In a bold and confident move, Combustion Technologies USA, the original manufacturer of the CleanBoost® family of products, including oils and fuel treatments, has released its new Warranty Statement, which finally puts to rest the age old question: Will using your products void my manufacturer’s warranty? The answer: No, it won’t affect your engine manufacturer’s warranty. And we stand behind each and every product we make. The Warranty: If you purchase any CleanBoost® fuel or oil products and use them in accordance with our standard user instructions; and if you suffer engine damage, which is documented and verified by industry accepted analytical testing; and if this engine damage would otherwise be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty; and if your warranty coverage is denied, just because you used CleanBoost® fuel or oil products; then, IF WE CANNOT CONVINCE YOUR ENGINE MANUFACTURER TO HONOR YOUR WARRANTY CLAIM, COMBUSTION TECHNOLOGIES USA WILL PAY FOR THE DECLINED WARRANTY REPAIRS. Racing products and use are excluded. This is a very strong statement by Combustion Technologies, signaling its total confidence in standing behind its products. But it also shows a rare willingness to stand squarely behind the customer, in an age where some companies will just walk away, or avoid answering the reverberating question - Well, what if? Now, there is a clear answer. No more what ifs. “We had to do something to put our customers’ and our potential customers’ minds at ease about using our products and to assure them that this will not void their warranties”, said CEO Don Poscente. “At every turn, we were being asked the same question from people and companies. Everybody wants to know if there might be any warranty issues, simply because they use of our products. And our answer is always the same – No. So we decided it was time to put these warranty concerns to rest, once and for all, by stating our position in one clear statement. We felt this made more sense than trying to deal with every warranty, from every manufacturer. It had to be done” said Poscente. “With the Magnuson Moss Act of 1975 clearly addressing the use of aftermarket products and their effect on warranties and our superior technologies, which we feel are the very best products available today, the choice was pretty easy” said Jim LeClaire Director of Sales and Marketing. “We just had to ask ourselves one question ‘How confident were we in our company, our people, and our products?’ The answer was we are that confident, so we just had to write it up and back it up.” LeClaire went on to say, “We do our best each and everyday in, inventing, developing, and manufacturing our products. This stand makes us even more accountable and confident. It ensures we meet the standards set for ourselves, our products and to show our customers that we will back up what we sell and move past the competition. “It is not easy for anyone, even a huge company in the oils, lubes, and fuels marketplace, to bring out even the best products to the marketplace, after some of the old ‘Snake Oil’ products and industry image problems. So we just decided to set the new standard for products that really work and have proven themselves, day in and day out, for over 6 years and be done with it.” Combustion Technologies USA is a private company based in Sandy, Utah. News Release
President Obama on Jan. 4 signed the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act into law following the U.S. House of Representatives’ approval by voice vote on Dec. 21 and the U.S. Senate’s unanimous approval on Dec. 16.
DERA (H.R. 5809) is a five-year reauthorization of the program created in 2005 to establish voluntary national and state-level grant and loan programs to reduce diesel emissions by upgrading and modernizing older diesel engines and equipment. The Diesel Technology Forum says DERA was supported by a coalition of more than 500 environmental, health, industry, labor and government organizations.
This means that emission friendly engine oils and additives are required on new and upgraded diesel engines. Combustion Technologies is ahead of the curve with their new Engine Metal Treatment (EMT). EMT contains no phosphorus, Teflon (PTFE), boron, graphite, solvent or chlorines of any kind. Furthermore, EMT treats the metal, not the oil, much in the same way as when engine parts are sent out to have expensive high tech coatings applied to the engine parts.
Combustion Technologies is the next generation in lubrication chemistry which is aimed directly at improving extreme pressure lubrication and boundary layer formation. Engine oils are lubricants designed to provide a film barrier between metal surfaces that are rubbing together. However, in extreme pressure metal-to-metal areas such at the valve train and piston ring to cylinder wall, the film strength of oil is seriously thinned and is often completely depleted due to clearances. With reduced sub-micron barriers, heat and friction are created forming localized hot spots and unnecessary wear. EMT replaces that barrier that has been depleted to give you a noticeably smoother running and longer lasting engine. Make sure to look at our Clean Boost Maxx diesel fuel additive to reduce emissions, increase fuel economy and keep your engines running clean and effiecent.
Combustion Technologies® is not spending millions on hype, instead we have spent our money on producing the finest lubricant packages available. Don’t believe us, try it your self and then you will be a believer in EMT.
Combustion Technologies is the original manufacture of Clean Boost products. We specialize in cost effective solutions for you and your company when it comes to maintenance and reducing your bottom line operating expenses. Combustion Technologies manufactures a wide range of environmentally friendly lubricants, fuel modifiers and finish care products.
